Hello,

Just a bit about me, I got into astronomy a bit by accident about four years ago when I was researching what telescope to buy my partner. All the advice said join a local society before splashing out on expensive equipment so we did. It was fantastic everyone so friendly and so much time to give you. Needless to say I was hooked as well and we are now fully involved members. Giving small kids and their parents their first views of the moon or Saturn - priceless.:)

I have been so blown away with all the help and community spirit in the astronomy world I thought it was high time to join in.
