  1. Superb, love these animations.
  2. Certainly has some amazing detail, well done.
  3. Lovely image, bit of SCNR/ green reduction will work a treat.
  4. Starnet is now built in to the latest version under Process.
  5. Yes Dart Structure Enhance. Yes a PI Range Mask or use a clone and Starnet to remove stars then use that as a mask. Once you've run SCNR you should have a Red/Blue colour nebula. If the stars are a bit magenta then invert the image and run SCNR on Green again, re-invert and it will remove magenta.
  6. That does sound like some sort of connection issue. Is the filter wheel connected to the Pegasus or to the camera ? In the meantime I would be tempted to try it with KStars/Ekos and see if the same problem persists.
  7. The data looks good, next step is to remove the green, any gradients and noise, then tweak the colours etc. I would stick to working in PI to start with. Then if you need to, final tweaks in PS. I would do: 1. SCNR 2. DBE (sometimes if the data is really good you may not need to do this, see if it gives a better or worse result) 3. Create Mask for stars and nebula, add together with Pixelmath to mask the stars and nebula then de-noise the background. 4. Use a star mask to reduce the stars a little if necessary. (Don't thing you'll need to but worth trying) 5. Use the nebula mask to smooth, de-noise or sharpen the nebula. 6. Run the Dark Nebulosity script (works very well) 7. Final curves tweaks for colour/ saturation etc. With any stretching be careful not to clip the black or white points, clipping the black too much will result in the loss of the finer details.
  8. Lovely shot, star colours are great.
  9. Very nice, stars look great and the definition between Ha and Oiii is really good.
  10. Worth a try, halo's can be really difficult. Another option is to try and soften the halo's so they aren't so defined.
  11. Lets have a look at what SHO is like, Oiii is mainly around the outside. Leave out the UV and Blue.
  12. Pretty good. There's some star halo that detracts a little, not sure if it's down to processing or filters. Also worth inverting the image and doing SCNR on green to reduce the purple tinge. Overall though, the pillars have come out well.
  13. I've not done a mosaic before but I would be tempted to do Linear Fit right at the start as No 2.
  14. I've just set up my Pi4 with direct Lan connection to my MacBook, it's cheaper than all the other options and pretty much is doing the same thing. USB over Ethernet Cable. Running Astroberry as a sever on the Pi4 and Ekos on my MacBook.
  15. Have you tried Linear Fit to match the brightness on each panel.
  16. Great image, well balanced and framed.
  17. I think what we're all trying to say @Rodd is.............please don't go. I for one looked at your propeller and thought, I need to work on my stars better to step up closer to this quality.
  18. Usually depends on how many pseudo friends and followers you have and how many actually see your posts.
  19. Shame about the windows, is there a flat roof on your block you could get access to ?
