  1. Another early start, tried the C9.25 but the results were so poor they are not worth posting. A little better with the Evostar 120mm Evostar 120mm, asi174mm, Lunt wedge
  2. A quick dinner session from work with the Evostar120mm Never easy from the back of the car, with only 30 minutes to set and capture. Pleased the "drift disc" stacked nicely and some decent details for images captured under the midday Sun! Evostar 120mm, asi174mm, Lunt wedge
  3. I have been trying to catch the Sun as early as possible with the C9.25. unfortunately the only chance is at the weekends usually, hoping the seeing conditions are going better than later on. These images were captured around 7.30 UK time, some decent details but not as good as the first couple of times used the 200mm filter. Still feel like the conditions are only going to be good enough for this size filter on a handful of occasion each year.
  4. I saw some very bright NLC's around 02.30 today, the first time i have seen any this year. Unfortunately low cloud was obscuring the vast majority of the display.
  5. I am finding it much tougher to do this sort of thing these days, 56 years old certainly feels different to even 50 years for me 🙂
  6. Great effort to get up at that time, good reward for your efforts Kon

  17. Well done for getting something out of the conditions
  18. Always seems to be tougher once things start to heat up
