  1. Still some decent details visible despite the conditions.
  2. OH YES Neil, your persistence has just paid off handsomely, the best images of the season i have seen by a mile! Excellent level of detail, data definitely worth keeping and experimenting with. A much deserved reward for all those early starts, well done 👏
  3. Very nice, good to see a couple of Moons as well.
  4. Some nice detail there again, what time did you capture it Kon?
  5. with the weekend now here that is my plan tomorrow and Sunday.... hopefully 🙂
  6. Excellent set of images, is it me or does the Filament activity seems to have increased quite a bit in the last month?
  7. A fine sharp set of images Steve, what time were they captured at?
  8. Some nice granulation to go with your Panda as well 🙂
  9. Looks good, it will be nice to point the scope at something a little higher in the sky eventually 🙂
  10. I think this is the one i have seen around Bresser | LUNT LS50FHa H-alpha double-stack solar filter | Expand Your Horizon Makes sense not to reduce that precious aperture
  11. Not easy in the afternoons, the newish AR is looking good though. Should be well place for early Saturday morning, weather permitting of course 🙂
  12. Excellent set of images there, would love to see a white light limb capture with the H/A and Ca-K limbs
  13. Thanks for the correction @michael.h.f.wilkinson i never knew that existed. I always thought it odd that you would buy a 60mm aperture, only to have to reduce it to 50mm when double stacking. An eye watering price though, has this been around very long ?
  14. I don't think you will go far wrong with the Lunt 50mm, the upgrades are a great improvement particularly double stacking. No point in getting a lunt 60 and double stacking that, as you will back down to 50mm aperture.
  15. lovely view, i also saw them from the UK. Spaceweather.com has been reporting a large increase in activity recently
  16. Looked quite bright for a while, but there was a fair bit of low cloud blocking the view. What altitude did image Jupiter and Saturn at?
  17. I would like to be able to use the C9.25 for all my close ups, but the conditions will not allow it.
  18. Terrific set of images, plenty of details visible on all those images.
  19. Lovely set of images, some nice details visible there
  20. You didn't see the noctilucent cloud Neil around 2ish ?
  21. That is the best attitude to astrophotography. It might be disappointing imaging wise, but those early summer mornings never are. I have 2 barn owls in the last 3 weeks when up early.
  22. A day off work and some blue skies early on, tried the C9.25 then switched to the Evostar after. 1st images is with the C9.25, the rest with Evostar 120mm, asi174mm, Lunt wedge. Great to see so many active regions on show at the same time.
