  6. I just go by my cats....if they stay on the sofa its going to be windy, cloudy & wet..... If they disappear just before dusk....its going to be a fine clear night with no wind....ideal for going on a murdering spree...
  7. Came accross this website http://www.clearline-tech.com/ Looks relatively new and does replacement electronic parts for LX200 Classic scopes. Includes a Boot Emulator module so you dont have to have your keypad attached ( very handy if it is broken or lost ) and you can just control everything from your PC.

  9. Another advantage is if you get the height wrong or need a different height later its a lot easier to adjust the rods than the pier itself !
  10. Have a look on a well known auction site ( or similar websites ) for ...... 58mm to 28mm Step Down Filter Ring Adapter Assuming the lens takes a 58mm filter and the analyser is 28mm ( or 28.5mm )

  12. Well mine comes to focus with the ED80 & diagonal with only about 20mm of inward travel left. Unable to see quality as its dark and there are no stars ( ok can see them through cloud enough to focus on them ). Will try and give a go again over the weekend.

  20. Been there...done that....lol I actually took my guide camera out to clean it, and didn't recalibrate afterwards. Obviously PHDs idea of up/down and left/right did not match the new position of the camera. If I had sound activated it was probably screaming...
  21. I was going to ask why the filename started with M103 ?
  22. This just shows how much difficulty there is around this, if we assume mass varies with speed according to an observer , then which observer do we use ? If we use all the observers in the universe then the mass would be every value from zero to infinity ( well almost infinity ). Therefore mass is either A-Constant or B-Non-existent
