Well done on the image you have done very well to get any detail at all. Jupiter is very difficult right now it's very low down in all the murk.

I think that is a cracking image. A 5x barlow should put you in the ballpark.

Thanks Ian. I can remember that fantastic narrowband image of the Dumbell nebula you did a few years ago with the edge11. And I thought exactly the same🙂 Just altered the contrast slightly not sure if it's a improvement?

Finally finished processing my first mars this season. Plagued by thin high cloud saw the histogram yoyo-ing etc. But I did manage to get a few decent runs ok. Telescope - Celestron C11 Camera - Asi290mm Filters - Baader RGB

I really like the colour balance definitely to my taste. You have also captured some nice surface detail too. The 8inch PDS is a great all round scope.

Beautiful Image Brendan I would love that one in my locker. I think 17 hours is about right. After 4 hours processing go and make yourself a nice cup of tea then it all comes together.😀

A lovely set of images Simon I think the saturn R and IR are excellent considering the elevation It's a shame you could not get the B&G to go with them. Your mars image as stunning detail on show. All images are beautifully processed.

Well done on your first light mars image a C11 is not easy to handle especially at f30.

Thats just superb Brendan. 10 minutes and still nothing there. Wow that is faint. I can see it as been meticulously processed and it's well worth your every second spent Excellent.
