  1. They are great captures Simon especially the saturn image. The conditions were awful that night so very well done.
  2. Two lovely captures from the old LX. Your saturn image looks very well controlled the ADC looks to be working very well. The jupiter image is showing loads of fine detail too.
  3. Some very nice banding on the globe Peter. The rings look very smooth with a hint of the crepe ring showing.
  4. The winjupos images look very smooth and detailed Peter. The single image is good but it does lack that something compared to the winjupos shots.
  5. For your first capture this year they are two very respectable images. If your shooting at native you could probably up your frames/capture time etc.
  6. A lovely compilation of images Craig your progress is quite stunning.
  7. They are very good images Peter considering the conditions you had to endure. Nice to see you back for the start of the new season.
  8. Even with poor conditions Neil you have captured a reasonably good image of Jupiter. Your camera/scope combination are certaianly working very well. If I was using a newtonian I would definitely be considering the Antares mod.
  9. Thats a very nice tidy Saturn Craig. The saturation looks spot on to me I also dont think the IR would have added anything at all except mess with the colour balance, Considering the conditions that is a excellent image.
  10. Absolutely right Neil your images now past and present stand the test of time. The bench mark for us all to prosper. Oh yes High pressure please.🙏🙂
  11. Thats a very nice image Alex. Your framing is really good too. Collimation is really key in planetary imaging so spend plenty of time to get it spot on. The C8 is a very capable telescope take a look at Angie's recent post @U Cyg.
  12. They are really good Reggie. Very nicely processed with a lovely colour balance.
  13. Absolutely beautiful Neil. simply stunning' on a very difficult target from these shores.
  14. Those images/animation are just superb Angie. You are certainly back with a bang with these shots. Excellent work indeed.
  15. They are excellent Simon. The Cassini is clearly visible all around the rings and Saturn as a very natural look to it.
  16. I think the WJ image is a big enhacement Pete it seems to have more substance to it. You can also clearly see it in Simons brilliant image. I 'm also currentlly having a play around with WJ but it does look a bit of a learning curve
  17. Thats a very impressive image Neil, Although the conditions wasn't perfect you have still captured some nice detail in the belts and a lovely colour balance too.
  18. Nice capture Reggie and very well presented too.
  19. Thanks for the comments and likes everyone they are really appreciated. @neil phillips Hi Neil I totally agree the images this year by everyone are getting better and better and long may it continue👍 @powerlord Hi Stu I posted the images in different orientations to try and represent what some Visual observers see with different telescopes ie inverted flipped etc by the way thats a good question.
  20. This image of Jupiter was captured on the 22/07/21 UT02.23. Conditions were very ropey as there were lots of thin high cloud and lots of moisture about. C11 Asi290mm Baader RGB filters
  21. Great images Simon. I Know they were shot through a thin high cloud layer and the red channel was non existant. 20fps is the best I could get on Saturn that night😀
  22. Excellent Work Neil Your Saturn images are beautifully stunning.
  23. That Jupiter image as striking detail on show Simon. I think this one is your best by far. excellently processed too.
