  1. Past hour
  2. Looking at one of mine at the min and... Even naked eye I could make out the red tinge to the thin high cloud and the greenish blue in the sky, WOW 🙂
  3. Did you try adjusting the focus knob? Even if you can identify the missing part, the chances of finding it on ebay are very low. You should take the telescope to a competent person who can tell you what is missing and suggest a fix. If you are willing to pay, I can look out the details of a telescope repairer I used in the past who put a new lens in a vintage brass telescope.
  4. From Stevenage, Hertfordshire... I've never seen such a bright display this far south - Naked eye visibility even in a town !
  5. Mayo, Ireland PXL_20240510_223744410.NIGHT.mp4
  6. It's overhead even here on the south coast. Purple visible naked eye.
  7. From Southampton city - my back garden. You can see the beams and colour naked eye! These are hand held iPhone snaps. Cannot believe it!
  8. We are total surronded NESW by Aroura !!!!!

  9. I can't see many stars... because of the aurora! D500 and Sigma 8-16mm @ 8mm 1/8th @ f4.5, ISO 10,000.
  10. Never seen anything like it. perfectly visible to the naked eye. These were six seconds exposure at ISO 2000, lens: Samyang 14 mm. Not so much Northern lights, they were an ark reaching the zenith. The only enhancement to the image was a black crush, nothing elsa
  11. This is the most bonkers thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m in central UK 😅
  12. I had never seen the aurorae before but I will not be able to say that again....WOW
  13. Same view naked eye as shown by PaulM in his latest image but in monochrome. Arcs from the East are interlocking overhead with those from the East. Photos don't do justice to the enormous scale. Hints of pink now. 🙂
  14. That is it visible by eye here on Suffolk coast
  15. Phone camera resting on my work boot. Overhead corona
