Hi everyone - new on here today.

Always been a keen photographer and space/science guy – thought it was about time I took the plunge and got my first scope and mount, with a view to combining my hobbies.

I'll post over in the Getting Started section but just wanted to say hello first.

Looking forward to some great advice!

Welcome to SGL.  I used to live in Sidcup until I moved deeper into Kent for darker skies.    Orpington Astronomical Society (not too far from you) has a keen group of astro-imagers.  In fact I know for certain that the September and October meetings have talks on getting started in astrophotography.
