Hello from Dallas TX

I dreamed of owning a telescope as a kid but we couldn't afford it. Now years later my interest was piqued after a friend told me about his start in astronomy. I have since picked up a cheap refractor and old Celestron 114 Firstscope with a wooden tripod on Craigslist. I am now hooked.
