Peter, new to astro recently aquired c11 cegem pro, malincam, and lots of bits, and astrodome.

Keen to to do video/astrophotography.

Joined my local astro club, lots of stuff over my head, but all seem very keen.

Will inevitably look for help setting up kit and getting good results.....so beware!

Hi Pete and welcome to the forum. Astronomy isn't difficult bit I will admit that there is quite a lot of it to get your head around. Having said that there's no rush to learn everything in one sitting and anyway the stars aren't going anywhere soon. We are all of us beginners really as a lot of what we think we know about the universe keeps changing anyway - so sit back and enjoy the ride!
