No need to feel nervous as this is a great place to be if you're in to astronomy! No such thing as a daft question (daft answers maybe!) so make sure you ask about what ever it is you need to know. The main thing is to get out there and start looking upwards! Don't need a scope to learn the sky but a pair of binoculars is helpful sometimes to see just that bit more detail and will certainly help prepare you for the next level.
