Hi from Lincoln

Hi All,

Thought it about time I made myself known as I have been lurking here a while.

As you can tell from my avatar I come from near Lincoln, about twenty miles south actually.

Have spent some time casually looking at the night sky most of my life and think it time I got better aquainted.

I am a member of a couple of other forums, not associated with astronomy, and would say from what I have seen here this must be the friendliest and most informative place on the web.

I'm sure I will enjoy my time here and hope to take an active part, to start with by asking lots of newbie questions but hopefully getting to a point when I will be able to advise others.
