Hi everyone :)

Mi name is Michael, i live in Romania and for the past 10 years or so i've been studying the sky from Bucharest (i know, not the happiest town in Europe for stargazing). My main observation scopes are now a C80 ED and an Alter M603, but i also use some old prime lenses, besides the 18-55is and 55-250is for the 400D: Tair 300/4.5, Pentacon 200/4, Jupiter 37A 135/3.5 (Russian Zeiss clone) and some filters (looking for a LPS P2, an O-III and a H-a in the near future). Sometimes i do afocal imaging using any of the above scopes and an eyepiece from the "fleet", using the a590is up on the good old EQ5 :)

I enjoy visual observations as well as photo, but also ATM and reading astronomy books.

I've been browsing the SGL for quite a while, but only now i decided to join the forum officially, so i can also chat with people around here.

Hello Michael, A very warm welcome to SGL, your afocal imaging may interest a few of the members, especially those starting out who are interested in taking basic photos through the ep, perhaps you could let us see some of your results and the technique's you used.
