Hello, my name is Steve and my (Better half) is Elaine, we have just signed up to this site and we are awaiting our first scope to arrive next week.

We decided to buy ourselves a Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT as an early joint Christmas pressie as we were now totally bored with the TV.

Both of us have had an interest as regards to the night sky for many years, but have done nothing about it until now. We are both newbies to this though and so we may well be looking to others on here for some help and guidance as we venture out into the unknown! (Well unknown to us anyway! )
