bosun21
Courtesy of @Stu1smartcookie an almost new 6” CC scope. Got it perfectly collimated and will eventually be mounting it on a Skytee II with a Starsense unit.

Zermelo
I posted a heads up elsewhere about the current sale on these, and on the 7.2-21.5mm model (but I already have the OVL version of that one). Then I thought 🤔 ... Arrived in 5 days, £23 posted. I like the feel of it, very like my OVL (unsurprisingly), but the zoom ring isn't as stiff. I have the Celestron-branded 10x50 & Swift-branded 8x44 version of these. Very good glasses for their era. I'm sure you will love them. . Chaz2b
And another of Tim Franklins offerings, the mighty Vixen SG 2.1x4.2. Then the clouds rolled in! Serves me right. chaz
cajen2
Just arrived: A StellaLyra 80° LER/UWA 4mm. I wanted a short-focal-length EP for planetary / lunar stuff; it'll give me about 179x mag on my Starfield 102. I have a 2" 20mm one in the same range and it's excellent. I'll do a quick review one day if these clouds ever disappear....

ST_Steve
Any thoughts on the stock focuser? Will shortly be pulling the trigger on the 8” version and wondering about adding a Baader Steeltrack…

I am going to use the scope first to see if I like it before I too will probably upgrade the focuser.

I stupidly sold my skywatcher ED100 12 years ago. which was the first scope that gave me some amazing views of Mars.. Hoping this will match that.
