1st Moon Pic [please be gentle!]

Took this a while ago, as I said in the past I'm fairly new top this and I haven't got the most amazing equipment, but I took this by balancing my camera on the eyepiece. Any thoughts and ideas on how to improve....

(I've already had a go at cleaning it up with photoshop...)

I remember mine, it was quite tricky to achieve focus.

As for my scope, somebody gave me a Celestron Powerseeker, it's pretty much only good for looking at the moon but saving for my new scope...

I started with a power seeker scope and it was ok on double stars and planets as well as the moon.

The camera I used was just a Nikon coolpix, I think luck played a huge part in taking the image! Tried a few times to do it again but not got such a good image.
