Marmite is a yeast extract popular (Or not) in the UK, traditionally a by-product of the brewing industry.

There is very little that polarises opinion (At least that we can discuss) quite so much, people either love it or loathe it. Possibly genetic.

I was just about to ask if putting marmite in same sentence with  Brian Cox has anything to do with slogan of that old commercial - "You either love it or hate it".

:D

One thing is sure, in reference to marmite, I'm in later camp.

I thought Marmite came from scaping out the contents of old engine oil pans. 😺

Marmite is the food of the gods, while the other which I will not dignify by naming is the misbegotten concoction of the devil.
