Happy New Year to all on Sgl.

Here's my year in Astrophotography. It started with a William optics Star 71, a few with a trusty 80ed and progressed to a Takahashi Epsilon 130d. All colour images taken with my Asi 071 colour camera and the Ha were taken with an Asi 1600.

Thanks to all who have given me great advice when needed and i hope 2019 is a productive and healthy year for us all.

Richard.

Wow, these are amazing, you've certainly had a good year! Just makes me more determined to learn more and give it a go myself. I just keep staring at the ones of nebulae?

Thanks Glad you like them. Definitely get out and give it a go, just be aware that imaging will ruin your life and empty your bank account?

Excellent images, Richard. Now I also know where those clear nights were last year.

Thanks Wim. It's funny i felt that the weather was poor last year but 30 odd images says otherwise.

Having a photon hoover seems to have helped. I hope you can enjoy it as much in 2019.

WoW! What a productive year - both quantity & quality. Well done.....Congratulations even!

You make me want to move back to Ireland ?

Thanks Brendan. It's been constant cloud here now for weeks. I don't think i had the scope out for the whole of December and i'm guessing you didn't have the same issue.

Yes - same issues in Spain - plenty of cloud here too. However, last night and perhaps tonight also, good for imaging. No new images from me though....have a main computer (processing only) problem. Still can gather the photons - just can't do much with them.

Having said that - really impressed with all you managed last year......that is quite a bag full and each one a beauty ?
