Hello from south wales

Hi everyone been interested in stargazing for a while, but wasn't really sure on it at first. Then this weekend I was given a pair of binoculars and decided that tonight I would go out and see what I could see. I was immensely impressed with the nights sky and aided by an app on my phone navigated through the stars and planets. I also tried out a bit of astrophotography and took some unusual photos, hence the forum sign up. I will try and post them in the morning as they have caused a lot of questions to go on in my mind.
