well got a few gaps thismorrning but the seeing is terrible, not a lot happening in WL so just a single frame, HA detail is very hard to catch with sol fazing in and out, did catch a filament but not very good shots, caught a nice few proms so over all I'm quite happy just to see sol.

thanks for looking, clear skys and I hope you have better seeing than me.  charl.

I've got bad knees (had one replaced) but I still have to do all the housework :icon_scratch:

Cool! so your quark has a 2.5x barlow and not a 4x? Do you use an ERF? I had an ATM 5 a long time ago. I remember I loved it and I remember always wishing I could put it on a small scope. I used it on an 11" celestron. I had Del W make me an ERF for a little meade 4" SCT was the c5 copy. It had like a 1" aperature. I just couldnt use it after the 11" views. I never took pics through it. I used it on a 7" meade mak also which was just as good if not better visual. Was close to chosing Daystar again not to say I wont add one later. The lunt 60 was what I always wanted. Small. Full disk.

na your right 4x barlow in the Quark, I put 2 instead of 4 by mistake, I was up early, yer I have a 2inch badder ERF in my wedge, I don't really need it with the ed80 but it saves my Quark and wedge getting warm, I like the lunts too, its nice to beable to get a full disc, ive yet to try a mosaic with the Quark.   charl. ps nice looking scope there.
