nice and sunny here thismorrning, seeings looks to be fair going by the suface detail, theres a small spot just about to move off the disc in the vis but I havnt caught it in my shot.

kit-ed80, 1.5x barlow, lunt wedge, 1200d in mono and 1:1 crop mode. 85 frames staxed with regi.

Nice one Charl.  Looks like the spot has faded, there were two in my picture yesterday, but haven't processed this morning's CaK yet but guess it will have gone for me as well.

Nice shot Charl. I caught the lone spot visually at lunch time today (through the trees).

I saw the sun today for the first time in ages. Tried my new to me baader wedge with my bino viewers and 120 ed.

The spot almost off the disk and associated with faculae had three components and there were two more regions of two pores or more on the right half. Hopefully these will develop.

thanks Robin, yer mate I could see it fazing in and out, but the dslr don't pick them up well when there right on the edge, in hindsight I should of put the ccd in and grabbed a 2k of frames it might of caught it then.  clear skys, charl.

Got my Lunt wedge off Moonshane today. Alas, the disk is pretty blank up there today, so hoping for some more activity soon.
