  1. thin overcast cloud here, seeing i dont think is too good, these are from the second set i took the earlyer ones was much the same, just one fuzzy spot or it could be the same 3 pores as yesterday and the seeings mushed them up. same kit as allways. thanks for looking ,clear skys charl. mono coloured sorry hit the cross twice
  2. nice and sunny here in south wales, seeings good. kit 120mm f5 frac, 1.5x barlow, lunt solar wedge and a dust bunny. 65 frames staxed with regi and coloured in photoshop. thanks for looking , clear skys charl. mono coloured crop of the 3 pore action
  3. managed to get a better set at 11am ,seeings still not great but the thermals have carmed down after a huge downfall of rain at 10.30am. kit ed80, 1.5x barlow, lunt wedge,1200d. i think these are a little bit better. took 400 frames ,staxed 20% with regi. ive got thick cloud so im done for the day. thanks for looking, clear skys charl. coloured mono coloured invert close up 1 close 2
  4. smash and grab thismorrning,though thin cloud. 16 frames staxed so its one for the record. some new spots/pores have develope overnight. same old kit. sorry i couldnt grab more detail but looking at the sky i consider myself lucky to get what i did. hope you all have better sky than me, thanks for looking. charl. mono. coloured.
  5. lovely and sunny here in south wales, seeing still a bit iffy. kit- 120mm frac, 1.5x barlow, ND moon filter, lunt wedge, 1200d mono and crop mode. 80 frames staxed with regi, coloured in photoshop and adjusted with topaz. thanks for looking and i hope you all have clear skys charl. i think its going to be another heart shaped one.
  6. smash and grab thismorrning,90% cloud and the seeing not too good, sorry no close up today and it looks like we could be heading for another blank disc over the weekend, hope not.. 30 frames staxed. kit- 120mm frac, 1.5x barlow,lunt wedge, 1200d in mono and crop mode. thanks for looking and hope you all have clear skys charl not the best of closeups, but seeing was poor at high mag. ar127l 1.5xbarlow 12 frames cropped.
  7. this is my 100th disc this year. in the vis i noticed theres a spot/pore in the east , theres a hint in the image but my camera didnt pick it up very well,ive loads of thin cloud in my shots. taken with 120mm frac, 1.5x barlow, lunt wedge,1200d. 45 frames staxed with regi.thanks for looking and clear skys charl. desktop snapshot, i feel a animation coming on.
  8. had a break in the cloud so caught myself 48 frames. it looks quite empty but there are some pores if you look closely. taken remotely using my Oculus Rift VR headset and a VR desktop, connected by wifi to my telescope laptop . ed80, lunt wedge ,1200d. happy new year and clear sky with good seeing for everyone. thanks for looking. charl. mono. coloured. coloured invert.
  9. still very blank, smash and grab. 64 frames staxed with regi, theres quite a bit of activity near the oncoming limb but no spots/pores visable. kit- ed80, 1.5x barlow, lunt wedge, 1200d in mono and 1:1 crop mode. thanks for looking and I wish you all clear skys , charl. mono. coloured. coloured invert.
  10. managed to dodge the cloud thismorrning and the seeing quite good in the gaps. taken with ed80 1.5x barlow, lunt solar wedge, 1200d in mono. 85 frames staxed with regi, coloured in photoshop. its not a proper close up its a crop, as soon as i put the 4x barlow in i was clouded out. thanks for looking and i hope you all have clear skys charl.
  11. didnt think id get any shots today with the cloud but spotted a break and went for it. ive changed my setup around so the ed is lower and it now keeps sol in range for a extra 45min.taken with ed80, 1.5x barlow,lunt wedge,1200d. 70 frames staxed with regi, colouredin photoshop.thanks for looking and hope you all have clear skys charl.

  14. a lovely sunny morrning here in south wales, the seeings fair to good ,not a bit of wind, i think spring has arrived "so it will probley snow tomorrow" and my sky @ night mag has arrived so a bit of intresting reading is on the cards, planet 9 by that brown guy who demoted pluto"now where did i put those pins". taken wirh sw 120mm frac,2xed barlow,450d, 75 frames staxed with regi,coloured in photoshop. thanks for looking,clear skys charl...
