Hi to Everybody!

I was a computerIst until I retired past year, so now I have plenty of time to do everything  I was unable to do before. I always wanted a telescope to watch the sky objects.

My beloved son has been so kind of giving me a small initiation telescope,   a Newtonian TS Optics 130/650 Eq3-1 that I'm assembling by now.

Will be giving a deep read to the forum before starting asking questions, but for sure I will need your help.

Count on me for whatever thing I could help.

Kind regards,

Jes.

Thanks a lot to Everybody for this warm welcome :)

I've just finished assembling the beast, reviewed some concepts ( right ascension, declination, etc.).

Now trying to figure out how to place a camera to get some picures.

As Murphy never rests, we have had some cloudy nights...

Kind regards.

Jes.

Welcome from Chile!

If you don't know it, you might enjoy visiting the Garraf Astronomical Observatory which I think is quite near you. They have an open evening about once a month. http://www.oagarraf.net/

Clear skies!

Thanks!

Yes, it is quite close to here. Didn't know about it!

Kind regards
