July 6, 2016: Prom detail shots and better WL full disk

Recommended Posts

I captured a couple of longer SER files at slightly longer exposure time, and in 16-bit, to get more prom detail with the ASI174MM this morning. The result of stacking 400 frames out of 2000 showed some great prom detail:

Finally, I shot another SER file this afternoon, using the ASI178MM, but this time I did take a flat. While the flat didn't correct earlier SER files from this morning correctly, it worked well on the new one I got this afternoon. More spots are visible too.

but you will need to inspect the full-size view to see them
