Thanks for the "heads up" will certainly be giving it a look. Anything is better than the usual bilge shown, Brian Cox is usually worth listing to whatever the subject matter.

Thanks for the heads up.  I'd completely forgotten!  I'm also too knackered after 3 observing sessions back to back to do much else apart from kick back...  Looks like it's going to be cloudy tonight anyway (so I won't feel guilty...)

Well maybe it's just me and I really tried to like it... but it just seemed to wander aimlessly and I gave up on it. Some pretty scenery I admit but not exactly informative.

I thought it was a bit of a mixed bag. Seemed to wander about aimlessly at times and was perhaps over long for the content. Still I will watch the other episodes. I do like the prof.

It did wander and was a tad content thin,i thought. How many times in a one hour show is it ok to say snowflake?. It was very similar to some stuff ive seen on Attenborough shows and also the show narrated by John Hurt.

I do wish somebody would buy him a thesaurus so he could learn some new adjectives and stop describing everything as beautiful.

Thankful for endless Welsh Eisteddfods and Agricultural shows now! At least my
neighbours don't do child-terrifying human pyramids in Catalonian tradition?

I do worry that, for dramatic effect, eventual science analogies are somewhat lost
on the many. See Twitter comments re. the above, slightly bizarre, spectacle. 
The later broadcast time (10:40 p.m.) was way beyond our bedtimes too...

Great show, Cox is one of the best science communicators we have today and they always seems to have such lovely locations, beautiful photography.

I wish someone would buy him a new jacket. The show was fine. It held my interest. Just a shame it was a rehash of BBC shows dealing with natural history (the beehives on the side of cliffs etc).

I'll watch the series out though.
