Mars 29th/30th May fair seeing

SPX350 F41.3, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters.

Managed Mars at its peak size of 18.62".  Seeing looked average with some slightly better seeing so I was amazed at the detail I got as the preview looked not too good.  The first time I have got Syrtis Major so far and the massive Hellas crater below SMajor is also visible.  GIF of red channel taken every 20mins, you can see Hellas crater clearly.

Mars is appearing earlier and earlier and it is getting colder here in Brisbane but weather has not been too bad so far.

We are definitely picking up more detail than in 2014.

Excellent level of detail showing, particularly around the polar region's. Syrtis major is always a fine sight in a Mars image. Always good to an animation as well.
