What the hell, I decided to just go for the drama of it. Can I get some comments / feedback on this new approach? Have I exceeded all bounds of good taste and subtlety, or is this what the subject matter calls for? I have been holding back because I wanted a "natural" look, but maybe too much so. I was feeling a bit wild today.

 

This is AR2548. I also tried out Topaz DeNoise for the first time on solar images.

Well, it isn't for everyone that's for sure. It is difficult to say what is natural. Sometimes the HDR-type processing can be over-done as well. Is it a matter of taste? I am not sure.
