Great capture. Not as contrasty as some images of this target that I've seen but your processing has given the trunk a certain ethereal quality which I find most appealing! Thanks for sharing.

Nice one, Bob - Yes - I would say this IS your best yet .   I also agree with John's comment (above) - Your processing has given it a very ethereal look... which to me make the elephant's trunk look even more like a Dementor coming out of the mist!

I don't know if you've decided on your next target yet, but there's a really interesting bit of nebulosity just off to the right...  and also above - Maybe the start of your first mosaic(?)

had a lil play around with your image i hope it don't offend you?

just i get bored not having decent skies to do any imaging of my own (well jel)

used paintshop pro clarify effect,and bible5 to adjust contrast (i'm colourblind so if its way out just say  )
