I'm Eddie and I live in Utah.  A friend purchased an Orion AstroView 90mm Refractor and took it outside 2 nights in a row and couldn't find or see anything and gave me the telescope.....score for me!  Been using it on a nightly basis when the skies permit.  Made my own solar filter for it as well which works awesome.  I posted pics on my fb page and now everyone wants to see the planets, star clusters and of course the moon and especially the sun so now I'm hosting Star Parties once a month :)

Thanks everyone!  It was awesome of my friend to give it to me.  Since she didn't know how to use it and couldn't see anything thru it, she immediately lost interest in astronomy.  It's been the best "toy" I've got in years!  roflol
