Hello to all across the pond! Or, as they say around here, "Howdy, y'all!"

I started amateur astronomy in 1968 in the Arizona high desert country (clear skies all the time) when I was a teenager.

Now I'm in the Big D City with lots of light pollution, traffic, wind - and fairly frequent clear (or mostly) clear skies.

Equipment-wise, I have a Meade RCX400-12, a TMB130SS, and an ED80 and am trying to become successful at DSLR photography.

Right you are! It's my 1973-vintage Peavey twin 15" bottom cabinet with the Bass 400 amp head that I use for outdoor gigs with my band.
