Hi All !

im reasonably new to astronomy but i love it ! I started with a Celestron Stargazer 114 but have recently upgraded to a Celestron C6 advanced.

Im getting there slowly with the imaging using a Canon d500 and am looking forward to learning more from this forum :-)

ps how do you make images smaller to post on here please ?

Hi and welcome to SGL - As an imager can I recommend the book 'Making Every Photon Count' available from the book section of the FLO website. It is something of an imagers bible and will really help with DSO imaging. It will help you understand what you need and why.

Welcome to SGL  :smiley: ,  Their  are lots of free photo editors that will compress your pictures, 

What system & software are you using at the moment?. Most photo editors will compress your Pictures  when you save them!.
