Hi, I'm Robert. I hail from central AR but am moving to eastern TX in a few days. I have been interested in astronomy since i was a kid (I'm 34 now) as well as electronics & computing.  I am also a big DIY'er and love nothing more than making things. Currently my dream is to have a completely automated observatory that i can control & use remotely (from my home). I am a good decade from that I'm sure but that's why it's a dream. Currently i have a Bushnell 114mm Reflector mounted atop a GEM of unknown make. I want to get into astrophotography with this scope & it's going to require some modifications (hence why i'm here). I look forward to exchanging ideas & thoughts with anyone who shares that same desire.
