Hello,

I'm a brand new user here - first post! - starting to get a little more involved in hobby-level astronomy and photography. There seem to be a lot of experience folks here so hopefully I can avoid reinventing the wheel more times than necessary!

I'm in southern Arizona, so great observing weather most of the year, but pretty bad light pollution if I don't get motivated to get out of the city. Overall I can't complain though!

Welcome to SGL Chris - There's a few of us imagers about that's for sure!! Glad that you found the forum, I'm sure there's loads of stuff on here that can help you with your imaging and some knowledgeable folks too!
