Saturn in a small Aperture Scope

Hi to all,

I took this capture the other night, SW 100 ed at F9, Televue 2.5X Powermate, ASI 120 MC all on EQ5 SynsScan Pro.

Processed through PiPP, AS!2, Wavelets in RG6 and tweaked CS2 for colour balance and noise reduction. 3500 Frames, 2000 Stacked and processed. Now I want to concentrate on DSO imaging.

I forgot to mention that I had put this image up the other day in the forum but this one is a reprocessed version. I have started to experiment with wavelet masks in the RG6 and I think that it does make a difference, but that is my opinion and others might disagree. I may also try to process the RGB channels separately tonight and see if I can reduce the noise in the Blue and Red channels, I think it is the usual rain and wind story around Manchester tonight.

Excellent! I was looking at Saturn last night from my scope (Astromaster 114eq) and the image was not much smaller. You have a fine view.
