Hello, and welcome to the forum. SGL is a great Astronomy site.

I grew up near Eagle Rock, but now live part time here in the UK.

Sometimes I really miss the Southern California weather, but the clean

air and pure water here make up for it.

Edit: Have you been up to the Griffith Park & Mount Wilson Observatory's ?
