My session got shortened by cloud despite the 0% predicted cloud cover on metcheck and apparent clear skies on sat24.com

The building in the photo is the church where the local vicar made front page headlines in the Sun newspaper a couple of months back ; it's kind of like Hollywood with all that goes on around here. :grin:

Since I got back into Astronomy several years ago, I think I've slightly developed a dislike for holiday lights.

to me their a waste of money to buy and to run    and also mess with astronomy on top...... personally all xmas decorations are as they make you feel you should spend money to "keep up with the jones"  

lol  im not a bah humbug...    but i dont like commercialiation
