Hi all,

I got an unexpected Christmas present of a Sky Watcher Dobsonian 150. After gazing at the moon the other night I am hooked, it's amazing.

Looking forward to lots more nights checking out what's actually up there.

HI and welcome to the forum. To help you select alternative targets for your next observing session, you might want to think about downloading some free planetarium software called "Stellarium", you can take a closer look here. Lots of great features to both educate and to entertain including an advance date/time facility to help you know when an object will be available to see. It can also be configured from your precise viewing location thereby simulating an exact copy of the sky that you will see - and it moves in real time too!
