Well, since the first proper scope is very close on the horizon I guess it's time to get active within stargazing communities a little more.

I'm Jonty (was it that obvious? ;) ) and after starting some research into which scope I will be buying SGL has frequently and consistently been up in the top results, only makes sense to get joined up and join in.

I don't profess to have any vast knowledge or experience but I am very eager to learn more about what is already a much loved hobby.
