Hi everyone, I was introduced to this forum by Steve at First Light Optics, so thanks Steve, you really are a gent :police:

I have recently returned to astronomy after a 6 year lapse (forshame). I have always used binoculars until recently when I bought a WO Megrez 110 mounted on an HEQ5. To cut a long story short it didn't work out and I have put in an order for an Orion US 10" 'Intelliscope' Dob. It must be said that Simon at The Widescreen Centre in London has been a real pleasure to deal with and I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough!

As I have discovered my main interest seems to lie in DSO observing and sketching.

In short, I'm back to astronomy and it's great!!!

I was intending a more coherent intro but I prefer to get to know everyone the old fasioned way, through chatting on the forums :D
