Hello to everyone, Just joined and has no idea how a forum works.

My name is Shane and I am 31years of age. I live in Cornwall and I love the night sky. I started at 8 years old with my first telescope and spent hours looking up to our night sky. My telescope broke when I was just getting started and this year my wife has bought me a new one for Christmas, needless to say I cannot wait unitl the evening of the 25th December lol! would be nice to get to talk to some like-minded people and appreciate any advice anyone has to offer

Hi Shane,

Welcome to the forum.

Any questions you have go to the Beginners Help and Advice and just ask. You're sure to get plenty of good advice from the knowlegable and friendly people here.
