My name is Nicholas. I am new to astronomy and The Stargazing Lounge, but not stargazing. Since my interest in physics progressed from general study to academic study. Any information, is useful information.

Hi Nicholas, welcome to SGL. You'll find stargazers and theoreticians here. I've done both and it is hard to compare the two because they are so different. Currently all my energy is going into setting up an observatory. Good luck to you

Thank you all. Did anyone have any luck with The Orionids? If anyone got any snapshots, I'd love to see them. I however, did not. Cloud cover the whole night. Still, there is always next time and The Geminids in December.
