  1. Fantastic project, here's to clear skies in the future so you can add to it.
  2. Just had an idea, send it from one of my email addresses to another and it should create a dropbox link I can post on here. Shall I delete all the fits files?
  3. Yup, shame about the filter colour cast.
  4. Lovely galaxy image, but I especially like the single pink star lower right.
  5. Nice close ups lads, let us know if you spot any flags or lander left overs.
  6. I quite like that but without the stars it does look a little more ominous.
  7. I thought it looked a bit suspect after it was stacked, I just used the basic script in Siril. Could be that the flats are wrong, here's one to look at. How's the best way to get you 200+ subs, I think I can email them via a Dropbox? IMG_5162.CR2
  8. Had another go without playing with the colours.
  9. If it's not an internal internal fuse thats gone then it could be a large capacitor, had one go with a pop in an ultrasonic cleaner.
  10. Well I thought I'd have a go with my 80D (standard) on the Skyguider with my Canon 100-400 at 400mm (I think my lens might have a problem). Took 207 x 30 sec subs + B,F &D's Looks like I might be better off with longer subs, shame Canon won't let you use the internal intervalometer in bulb and mirror lock, will have to hook up to the laptop next time. Done the best i could with some Gimp processing. Added the original if anyone cares to have a bash at processing. Pinwheel 2.tif
  11. Lovely image showing some nice dark detail between 3 and 6 o'clock.
  12. Great experiment. Looks like flats are the greatest benefit visually, darks and dark flats just reducing any sensor noise which on the uncropped image doesn't really show up. Thank you for taking the time.
  13. WOW! That is superb. Especially love the millions of pinpoint stars you've kept in the background, I think they rally give this image some OOOMPH!
  14. Superb, love the gentle colours. Almost looks like milk spilled into a dark pool.
  15. Also post process them all the same, would like to see the results.
  16. When your image has uploaded, click the + and it will insert it. Should be able to do it in edit.
  17. Lovely image but yes there is a lot of magenta showing on my screen.
