  1. Excellent image with wonderful detail and colour. Well done.
  2. This guy says no but then he says maybe, whether it hits the mirror or not. So basically not worth the risk. https://www.quora.com/Can-an-EF-S-lens-fit-onto-an-EF-camera?share=1 One thing to remember is not to use an EF-s lens with a clip in filter.
  3. Pretty good but it would be better if you could hook up to a laptop or intervalometer to take longer exposures.
  4. From the image on FLO of the 120ed, it looks like the prism clamp unscrews from the focuser. If it does then try one of your parts directly to the focuser.
  5. I managed to connect my AZ EQ6 direct using a standard USB and Ekos, I think I upped the Baud rate and it connected perfectly. No difference to when I had it plugged into the handset other than not having to go through the set up menu to get to PCDirect mode.
  6. I have the Trius, secondhand and no problems at all. Cools down pretty fast. Has the benefit of being UK built, based in Berkshire.
  7. How about using a standard reflector set up, right angle prism to point down to the base and a long optical lens set up to place your imaging rig at the back. Basically a small long telescope with a diagonal that fits into a standard 2" focuser.
  8. Very good for just an hours worth. Both inner arms are definitely showing some weird angles.
  9. Well done mate, bet that took some time and pressure with a hand drill. If there wasn't a lockdown I could have done them on my lathe for you.
  10. I think that Powermates are generally supposed to be better that barlows for imaging. 2 x focal length but also 2 x f ratio, so longer exposures needed.
  11. Well done, a bit more definition showing. I'd leave well enough alone unless you want to add more data to it.
  12. Great image of The Ring, well done.
  13. Stunning, that's a keeper.
  14. I use Ekos as its Mac native. Gremlins do crop up but I've not really seen any better alternatives.
  15. I tried that last night after my imaging session last night and I was so far off the purple line ended up way to the right off the screen. Any Ideas on which way to move the mount ?
  16. Massive improvement. Lovely image.
  17. USB 3 has a 5m limit per active cable but you can string up to 6 cables together I believe up to a 30m max. Lindy are pretty reputable. https://www.lindy.co.uk/cables-adapters-c1/usb-c449/usb-3-0-c451/10m-32-81ft-t31
  18. What makes the biggest difference is the filters, are they all the same brand, are they par focal.
  19. Do the full stack, looks like there's some nice detail coming through.
  20. What's your red channel look like with out the filter offset and does it move 7 steps from green and blue all the time?
