malware has now been running for over 2 hours and found 76 issues.....EEEEEKKK!!!!!

Depending on the browser used they are probably cookies that get left. IE asks if you want to delete all cookies, the problem is that it doesn't actually delete all cookies. So the number builds up over time. I always had to use Explorer locate the folder, select all, then delete. Somewhat annoying when the question it asks is "Do you want to delete all cookies?" Are third party cookies blocked ?
