Yes, just search for M3 / M4 plastic head knurled screws on eBay. -
I bought some M3 and M4 plastic knurled head screws 2 and 3 cm long and it makes the world of difference from those tiny ones supplied.

Looked promising at around 6.15 so I set up the scope and had a quick look at the moon before being called in for dinner. Just been out now and brought it back in as the cloud has moved in yet again 😖

You don’t say what scope you have but it it is a decent make I can’t see how you could warp the mirror as they are normally a big chunk of glass.

Could someone please explain what the difference is between a 2x barlow lens and a 2x telenegative barlow lens is please. Also what is a variable power tele extender used for. Please excuse my ignorance 😀

You should be able to buy an adapter, I am sure you will need a 1/4" to 3/8" . -

Slipping Focusser

If it is the Skywatcher it has an allen screw in the centre of the plate that holds the focuser wheel in place. It is not that obvious so you could have missed it. -

The BST Starguiders should be fine in both scopes.

The Celestron 127 mak is F12 so it is not as critical to use high quality eyepieces as it is with faster scopes. BST Starguider eyepieces are very well regarded on this site and they perform well in most scopes. For the price they are hard to beat IMO.
