  6. I remember the 1st time i saw this, i couldn't believe what i was seeing. Such an interesting feature to observe/image
  7. Terrific set of images, interesting to see the comparison between scopes.
  8. Always a source of wonder what you can get from the data. This why it is referred to as lucky imaging i guess, a term i must admit i dislike. They may be an element of luck, but there is a lot of skill as well, as shown by your excellent image
  9. Excellent capture, good to see both the inner planets.
  10. Looking good despite the conditions.
  11. Lovely image, plenty of interest in the sky and on the ground. Always nice to see an interesting foreground as well as the sky.
  12. Plenty to see on the Sun at the moment, good to see cycle 25 looking very active already.
  13. As others have said hazy cloud will certainly reduce the show, i also use a UHC OR 0III filter to really make M42 show even more detail.
  14. If it is this one LUNT LS35THa review.pdf (stephenramsden.com) Stephen Ramsden is an authority on all things Sun related.
  15. Its the next aperture down from my Lunt 50mm, if it has a pressure knob on the side. I think it might use a different method to mine looking at the online pictures though. Can you post a picture of the scope?
  16. No chance of seeing it here, but i looked on SkySafari it fits perfectly and looks like an extra galilean moon 🙂
  17. wow, quite a contrast from beginning to end! Never seen something like this before, thanks for sharing the video.
  18. Very nicely captured, some interesting looking active regions rotating in to view.
  19. Nice looking discs, it is great to see the activity slowly increasing!
  20. Have you seen this thread, maybe some worth a read ?
  21. That is disappointing to hear, i can see from your website you have captured some excellent images.
  22. Finally a proper clear sky, at a time when i can go out and take advantage of it! I have been testing a new phone power bank to supply the EQ3-2 when out in the field. Still a few teething issues, maybe for discussion elsewhere in the forum 🙂 The 12 pane mosaic didn't quite due to the above issues, but its not too bad. Some decent detail in the images especially for the low altitude still. Evostar 120mm for the white lights. Lunt 50mm for the H/A.
