    Definitely the number one imaging target for the next couple of months, going to be long, long imaging runs to try and capture more than just a disc. Manged the Polar cap during some fine seeing a couple of years back.

    Excellent images as always Avani, been thinking about your images for the last couple of weeks, since you posted them. The Polar region is definitely visible, I have managed to capture that once myself. As for the other "markings" I guess time will tell. Have thought about trying to capture the rings?

    I booked it off a while back. Let's hope the weather is kind, or at least some decent gaps in the clouds. I was going to try and find somewhere where I could image it all the way down to the horizon, not sure I bother now though.

    Sorry about the lack of response, I completely forgot I had asked. I would be surprised if you are getting 100+ fps on proms, what is your exposure time? Also I have not used registax for stacking for ages, is it just alignment "dots" or can you use a box as well?
