+1 as well as @wormix I am planning a second box but using these will see if they work as they are compact and have a switched rotary dial. you are a brave man with all that swarf floating around I take it you protected the underside job well done.

Switch your camera to manual mode and then set your ISO to its lowest possible setting. That’s likely to be 100 or 200. Set your aperture to f/10. Set your shutter speed to 60th second and aim at the moon and see how you go from there

6" or 150mm external around 168mm and a height of - 1050mm high would do with a tube wall of between 4mm and 4.5mm. those flanges in your picture are not cheap around 70 quid a go maybe go with a flat piece of steel at either end to cut down costs
