  1. where abouts in Europe are you as your Avatar does not state your location? this might help others based overseas for other forums who have a for sale section...
  2. 95% of my purchases have been from SGL as @Carbon Brush states should help you out. I've even had on two occasions SGL sellers sending me the items to check out before paying for. For me anything 2nd hand I would source on here as it will have been well looked after or if any minor issues it would have been stated.
  3. is the scope the 70ED Triplet Apo? looking at the pictures you would need to add a finder shoe on top of the scope rail The Ascent 70ED looks like it comes with a finder shoe did you buy as tube only? there are 2 shiny screws on the body of the scope at 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock there you would fit a finder shoe
  4. I've had a root around in my electronics bit's n piece's and I have the LM2596 ordered for powering my RPI 3 from 12 volts and other things

Nema17-PG5 has 1036 steps per revolution (Full Step) = 3 steps per degree of revolution so 500 steps = 166 degree's Nema17-PG27 has 5370 steps per revoution (Full Step) = 15 steps per degree of revolution so 500 steps = 33 degree's if this helps and my maths correct I have the PG27 as this give's finer control and more torque

  12. Alan, I understand now what would you recommend? Me if a triplet then send it back to the supplier to be recollimated if unable to do by oneself? or any other ideas?
  13. The OP was referring to scope is an ES 80ED triplet and the diag is a tele vue

  15. I was unable to find any other type of fitting i know it is not cheap but better than those thumbscrews. the only problem I have is with my MPCC there is an undercut on it and the compression fitting on the scope just grips it. otherwise fine
